We have met many questions about printing position. Some asked if we can print the design on same position on each products. It is not very understandable if you have never bought bamboo fiber products. We can’t have the printing on same position. error exists and we can’t avoid. 

Some customers may doubt they see the printing on plastic products or stainless steel is consistently located on same position. why things are different on bamboo fiber? When I use the term “Printing”, it is not exactly appropriate to describe how the print is made on bamboo fiber. They are not printed instead they are transfered from a paper which we call it Decal. We use decal (one kind of paper with print)to transfer the print onto product while product is still in the mould, the key process that determines position comes in this step. Worker manually place the decal above the product. Because this is hand control, Printing on some pieces might be centered, some might be a little left and some might be a little right or up and down. When decal is placed, mould will close and begin to transfer print in high temperature mould cavity. 

We can not avoid but this does not mean we can not control it. There are three ways that can improve the result. 

First: Add background color on your design. When worker is putting decal on product, background color will help them to better judge the position where it should be placed. 

Second: Workers should be trained and skilled on controlling. This ability is different per different suppliers. Manufacturers pursue high production efficiency and always hope to produce more products in the same time. This is their way to save cost and it makes sense from operation prospective. and workers are getting paid by piece wage. they also want to finish more products in a given time. If they care speed more than correctness, quality issues are inevitable. so workers have to be well trained and skilled. Our management in this regard has been fully carried out. Our workers are chosen from a lot of applicants as per the best working performance. Speed and correctness can both exist without causing issues.  

Third: Quality control ability. Manufacturers with bad quality control system always fail to make good products.  With better quality management, such as QC system, they will timely spot defective products and instruct workers to adjust or remake. By keeping unqualified products from being shipping in production line,  You can receive goods in better condition.
